Wade A. Horn

Wade Horn interned at B.D.Simon Construction in 1984 and was with PCE at its inception in 1989. Working under the tutelage of experienced company owners, he has consistently taken on new responsibilities that have made him an effective project manager in a variety of project types and sizes. As his experience has increased, so has the size and complexity of the projects he has managed. As the firm’s Chief Operating Officer, Wade now oversees all projects and coaches PCE’s project management team to ensure success on all projects.
When Wade isn’t working, he enjoys skeet shooting with his family.
Matthew W. (Matt) Robe
CFO/Secretary-Treasurer, Shareholder

Since 1999 Matt has applied his extensive education, experience, and technical knowledge to his role as PCE’s Chief Financial Officer. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, a Masters of Business Administration and is a Certified Public Accountant. In addition to managing all of PCE's corporate finance and banking matters, Matt also oversees corporate insurance and risk management, contractual and legal matters, and information systems management. Prior to joining PCE, Matt served as Controller of Mid-States Airgas.
Matt is a strong proponent of giving back to his community through service and is involved with the Columbia Evening Rotary Club, Fr. Tolton Regional Catholic High School and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, among others. In his spare time, Matt can be found running around Columbia. He and his wife of over 35 years, Vanessa, also enjoy hiking and biking around Columbia and traveling around the globe.
Ryan McCullem
Ryan joined PCE in 2016, and became a partner in 2017. He has previously served as Vice President and Senior Project Manager. Ryan graduated magna cum laude from Columbia College with a BA in Business Administration in 2020. Ryan is a retired military veteran (Army), a former professional baseball player, and a Columbia native. He brings 22 years of combined residential and commercial construction experience to the PCE team. Ryan enjoys meeting clients, developing relationships, and working with them to successfully see their projects through to completion. Ryan and his wife, Robyn, have three wonderful children and spend their time gardening, skiing, hiking, fishing, and biking.
Steven Stepanovic
Steven is an experienced project manager who has been with PCE since 2014. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the company, having earned a degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri. Throughout his career, Steven has worked closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure their projects are completed to their satisfaction. He has successfully managed a wide range of projects, including those in the education, manufacturing, and healthcare sectors.
As a Columbia native, Steven is committed to the local community and takes great pride in working with local businesses to help grow and develop the area. Outside of work, he is a volunteer who is passionate about giving back to the community. In his free time, Steven enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the great outdoors in Missouri.
Lisa Johnson
Lisa has a degree in construction management from Missouri State. She started in the construction industry in 1995 and came to PCE in 2008. Lisa is a critical member of the project staff, managing projects, overseeing contract execution, and providing quality control. Lisa’s excellent organizational skills assure that details are noted and proper project documentation is maintained. Notable projects include Goodwill Excel School, Gatehouse Media Office, Callaway County YMCA addition and renovation, Plaza Dental Columbia office, and My House Bar & Grill addition and renovation.
Lisa moved to Columbia from Fulton and enjoys traveling, hiking and biking Columbia trails and spending time with her family, friends and two golden retrievers. She’s a member of the Columbia Chamber Women’s Network.
Brian Dennison
Brian has been a valued team member of PCE since 2011. He worked in the field part-time over the summers during high school, and upon graduation he moved into the office to focus more on assisting our superintendents and project managers. Throughout the years, Brian's hands on experience between the office and the field has made him an excellent addition to the project management team. Brian is able to visualize a project from start to finish thus exceling in project management and estimating.
In his free time, Brian enjoys spending time with his friends and family, working on cars, and spending time outdoors.
Eric Sherrell
Eric joined PCE in 2024 as the first Project Manager in our new Lake of the Ozarks location. He brings extensive experience in the commercial construction industry domestically and abroad. He is poised to lead our team in navigating our southern market's exciting growth and expansion. He has overseen large projects for private companies in the oil and gas industry and public projects for various school districts. He’s been a member of the Ironworkers Local 396 since 1999. Eric holds various certificates, including OHSA safety and Advanced Work Packaging training. From new construction to maintenance, training and procedure development to project planning, Eric’s vast and detailed industry knowledge makes him a perfect fit at the lake.
Eric enjoys coaching youth sports, hunting, fishing, and spending time outside with his family in his free time.
Carson Redmon
Carson is an Air Force veteran who served his country as an Aerospace Ground Equipment Technician, maintaining equipment for the F-35 fighter jet. After leaving the Air Force he returned to Columbia where he worked for a property management company coordinating renovations and remodels. His time as a property manager highlighted the importance of effective communication and documentation.
As an assistant project manager at PCE, Carson relies on his experiences in both the Air Force and property management daily. He works directly with project managers to ensure that all projects are managed to the highest standards, reviewing submittals, processing RFIs, and collaborating with PCE superintendents to get the job done.
In his free time, Carson enjoys spending quality time with his family and dog.
Jack Matheson
Jack is an Air Force veteran and spent his time there as a Structural Specialist. He used the leadership skills he acquired in the Air Force to become a team lead, where he guided many airmen through several construction projects. After leaving the Air Force in December 2020, he began working on large commercial projects in the private sector primarily as a framer, but he ventured into other trades as well. In early 2021, Jack missed having the larger scope of work as a manager and took a job working for Champion Windows. At Champion, he oversaw Northeast Oklahoma while running crews on multiple projects. He joined PCE in 2022.
In 2022 Jack moved to Jefferson City, and he enjoys spending time outside and is always looking for new spots to camp, hunt, or fish.
